Minnesota Upsets #15 Ohio State

Minnesota beat Ohio State 79-70. The Gophers are now in a five way tie for second after the upset win. Leslie Knight (Hopkins) erupted for a career high 33. Ashley Ellis-Milan (St. Paul Central) had 12, and Katie Ohm (Elgin-Millville) had 8 for the Gophers. Tamarah Riley (Detroit DePorres) had 8 for Ohio State.

Iowa beat Purdue 69-53. Wendy Ausdemore (TriCenter, IA) had 11 for Iowa. Krista VandeVenter (Osseo) added 8 to the Hawkeye cause. Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill) had 7 for Purdue.
Coach Bluder has a Q&A session. Benchwarmer is not a dirty word at Iowa.

Michigan beat Indiana 65-54. Carly Benson (Carney-Nadeau, MI) had 22 for Michigan. Jamie Braun (Marshfield, WI) had 20 for Indiana.

Michigan State beat Illinois 65-62. Mia Johnson (Mpls North) had 20 for MSU. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had 18 for Illinois.

Wisconsin beat Penn State 79-52. Jolene Anderson (South Shore, WI) and Linn Zastrow (Jefferson, WI) each had 16 for Wisconsin. Tara Steinbauer (Bloomington Kennedy) and Alyssa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) each had 4 for the Badgers. Janessa Wolff (Park Rapids) had 3 for Penn State.
