Steinbauer gets written up in the Wisconsin State Journal about her start and about her "bubbling over with intensity." Today the Badgers face instate rival UW Milwaukee. Maryland Eastern Shore beat Western Michigan 85-66. Amanda Parker (Muskegon Mona Shores) had 15 for WMU.

UMKC beat Texas State 80-68. Alysa Klein (Okoboji, IA) had 15 for UMKC. Marta Waalen (St. Paul Central) added 4. Marie Moser (Cedar Rapids Jefferson) had 8 for Texas State.
Butler beat Oakland City 77-46. Chloe Hamilton (Holt, MI) had a career high 9 for Butler.

Boise State beat Oral Roberts 73-64. Sierra Moeller (Pierre, SD) did not score for Boise State.

Keshia Hines of Louisville (Auburn Hills Avondale, MI) has been named Newcomer of the Week in the Big East.
Krystle Ellis of Marquette (Racine St. Catherine) has been named to the Big East Honor Roll for the second time this season.
Jacqui Kalin of Northern Iowa (Sioux City North) is the Missouri Valley Newcomer of the Week.

Carleton beat St. Benedict 64-61. Hannah Oken-Berg (Portland, OR, Lincoln) had 14 for Carleton. Mindy Schmidt (Champlin Park) had 14 for St. Ben's.
Concordia Moorhead beat St. Olaf 76-52. Anna Matetich (Hibbing) had a career high 17 for CM. Elyse Erickson (Orono) had 18 for St. Olaf.
