Minnesota is beat Purdue 70-63. Leslie Knight (Hopkins) had a career high 20 for the Gophers. Ashley Ellis-Milan (St. Paul Central) had 11 and Katie Ohm (Elgin-Millville) had 8 as well. Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill) had 14 for Purdue. The Gophers sent a message to the Big 10, according to the StarTribune,

Illinois kept Wisconsin reeling 64-54. Former Bloomington Kennedy teammates faced each other. It was Jenna Smith scoring 16 for Illinois while Tara Steinbauer had 2 for Wisconsin. Alyssa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) did not score for the Badgers.

Michigan beat Iowa 63-46. Janelle Cooper had 13 for Michigan. Krista Vande Venter (Osseo) had 14 for Iowa.

Michigan State bounced back from the loss to Minnesota by beating Ohio State 60-53. Alyssa DeHaan (Grandville) had 18 for Michigan State. Mia Johnson (Mpls North) had 3 for the Spartans. Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron) had 4 for Ohio State.

MIDWEST
Ohio beat Morehead State 76-54. Lauren Kohn (Adrian, MI) had 15 for Ohio. Jackie Hiebert (Hopkins) added 2 for Ohio.

Nebraska beat Denver 73-38. Cory Montgomery (Cannon Falls) had 17 for Nebraska. Ashly Robinson (Bloomington Kennedy) did not score for Denver.

Drake beat UC Davis 71-50. Jill Martin (Norwalk, IA) had 20 for Drake. Lauren Dybing (St. Croix Lutheran) had 6 and Katie DeWitt (Centennial) did not score for Drake.

Dayton beat Central Michigan 86-71. Brittany Holterman (Racine Prairie) had 14 for Dayton. Britni Houghton (Lansing Waverly) had 18 for CMU.

Kansas beat Boston University 71-57. Kelly Kohn (Adrian, MI) did not score for the Jayhawks.

Iowa State beat Hampton 66-47. Alison Lacey (Ballard, IA) had 19 for ISU. Amanda Nisleit (Woodbury) had 8 also for the Cyclones. Nicky Wieben (Ankeny, IA) provided energy for the win according to the Des Moines Register.

North Dakota State beat Montana State 82-59. Lisa Bue (Austin) had a career high 29 for NDSU.

Sacred Heart beat Columbia 62-61. Chelsea Frazier (Breck) had 13 for Columbia.

Charlotte beat Arkansas State 58-51. Kayla Pospisil (Marion, IA) did not score for Arkansas State.

Arkansas beat Marquette 71-69. Angel Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 15 for Marquette and was named to the all tournament team.

Louisville beat MTSU 76-64. Keshia Hines (Auburn Hills Avondale, MI) and Brandie Radde (Niles, MI) each had 5 for Louisville.

UTSA beat Weber State 73-45. Kristin McComas (West Allis Hale, WI) did not score for Weber State.

Colorado beat Jacksonville State 91-64. Hannah Skildum (Mounds View) had 5 for Colorado.
