Big 10 0-5 with ACC Challenge Over the Weekend

D1 REPORTS--FRIDAY & SATURDAY
BIG 10
The Big 10 was 0-5 in the ACC Challenge games over the weekend.

Virginia Tech beat Minnesota 68-62. Emily Fox had 30 for the Gophers. The best a Minnesota bred player could muster for the Gophers was Leslie Knight (Hopkins) with 3.

Maryland beat Ohio State 77-53. Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron) had 2 for OSU.

Florida State beat Indiana 85-78. Jamie Braun (Marshfield, WI) had 16 for Indiana

Virginia beat Wisconsin 84-60. Jolene Anderson (South Shore, WI) had 18 for Wisconsin. Tarah Steinbauer (Bloomington Kennedy) had 10 for the Badgers too.

Northwestern beat Central Michigan 52-48 on Saturday, but lost to Boston College in the ACC Challenge 73-66 on Saturday. Melissa Miller (Breck) had 8 for NW against CMU. Latisha Luckett (Detroit Country Day) had 10 for CMU.

OTHER MIDWEST
North Dakota State beat Idaho 70-58. Brenda Slyt (Climax-Fisher) had 18 for NDSU.

Marquette beat UW Green Bay 60-48. Krystal Ellis (Racine St. Catherine) returned with 21 points for Marquette. Ange Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 2 for Marquette. Kayla Groh (Elkhart Lake-Glenbuelah) had 14 for UWGB.

Nebraska beat Creighton 79-65. Cory Montgomery (Cannon Falls) had 9 for Nebraska. Michelle Kaus (Eastview) had 3 and Tyrai Bronson (Mpls North) did not score for Creighton.

Iowa State beat Montana State 76-50. It was the 500th win in the ISU history. Nicky Wieben (Ankeny) had 16 for ISU. Amanda Nisleit (Woodbury) had 9 for ISU.

UALR beat Bradley 65-40. Renee Frericks (Forest Lake) had 3, Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia) had 2.

Wichita State beat Western Illinois 65-62. Daria Frazier (Mpls North) had 7 for Wichita State. Lindsey Wutt (Waterford, WI) had 2 for Western Illinois.

American beat Western Michigan 65-61. Talicia Jackson (DeLaSalle) had 9 for American. Tiera DeLaHoussaye (Detroit Country Day) had 12.

Butler beat Indiana State 83-70. Chloe Hamilton (Holt, MI) did not score for Butler. Heather Seyfred (Bridgeman, MI) had 4 for Butler.

Vermont beat Kent State 63-53. Alissa Brinkman (Pocahontas, IA) had 6 for Kent State.

Miami OH beat Cleveland State 89-71. Brittany Korth (Clinton, WI) had 13 for Cleveland State.

UW Milwaukee beat Central Connecticut State 77-51. Aubri Rote (Kettle Moraine, WI) had 17 for UWM. Lindsay Laur (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 6 for UWM.

Northern Iowa beat Detroit 65-35. Lizzie Boeck (Milw Lutheran) and Jacqui Kalin (Sioux City North) had 16 each for UNI. Chanica Hall (Benilde-St. Margaret's) had 7 for Detroit.

Utah Valley State beat Ohio 83-81 on Friday. Ohio beat Hampton 70-64 on Saturday. Jennifer Poff (St. Johns) had 11 for Ohio against UVS. Jackie Hiebert (Hopkins) had 2.
Lauren Kohn (Adrian) had 19 for Ohio in the Hampton game. Jackie Hiebert did not score.

OTHER EAST
Duquesne beat Princeton 71-58. Ali Prichard (Apple Valley) had 9 and Jillian Schurle (Hopkins) had 4 for Princeton.

Florida Atlantic beat Columbia 74-58. Jana Momoh (Park Center) had 1 for FAU. Chelsea Frazier (Breck) had 14 for Columbia.

St. Joseph's beat Manhattan 65-58. Amy Wold (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) had 11 for St. Joseph's.

Marshall beat Jackson State 87-61, and lost to Pitt on Saturday 70-66. Tynikki Crook (Detroit Pershing) had 9 against Jackson State. Kizzy Hart (Oak Park, MI) had 12 for Marshall against Pitt.

Lafayette beat NJIT 61-53. Laura Cullen (Clinton, WI) had 2 for Lafayette.

OTHER SOUTH
Vanderbilt beat St. Mary's CA 90-69. Amy Malo (Fairmont) had 6 for Vandy.

Missouri beat Texas State 70-61. Marie Moser (Cedar Rapids Jefferson) had 4 for Texas State.

OTHER WEST
Wyoming beat Denver 61-45. Ashley Robinson (Bloomington Kennedy) did not score for Denver.

Colorado beat instate rival Colorado State 82-47. Hahhan Skildum (Mounds View) had 4 for Colorado. Lauren Young (Edina) had 10, Kelly Finley (Breck) 8, Emily Neal (2) and Elle Queen (0) for CSU.

Santa Clara beat Sacramento State 67-60. Claire Goins (Sioux City Heelan) had 2 for Santa Clara.

Portland beat Boise State 84-80. Sierra Moeller (Pierre, SD) had 12 for Boise State.

San Jose State beat Cal State Northridge 59-55. Natalie White (Dubuque Senior) had 19 for SJS.
