PROFILE: Brad Atchison
Today the profile spotlight falls on Willmar coach Brad Atchison. Atchison has taken three different schools (Midwest Minnesota, MACCRAY, and Willmar) in 5 different years to the state tournament. His 1986 Midwest Minnesota team beat East Grand Forks 54-38 in the A State championship. Atchison is one of nine coaches that have over 500 career wins on the girls basketball side. He was inducted into the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2002.
