TWO TWS SAMUELS VERBALS
Two players from Team Wisconsin Select Samuels have made verbals----

Sam Hoyt of Durand to Michigan Tech. The 5-5 point guard averaged 16 ppg for the 18-4 Panthers last year. Hoyt made the third team gbbrecruit team this summer, and second team on the distributor list.

Laura Petersen of Osseo-Fairchild to the University of Mary. The 5-10 perimeter averaged 9.2 ppg for the Chieftains last season. Petersen made the first team gbbrecruit team this summer and was player of the week twice this summer. She also was named the breakthrough player by gbbrecruit this summer.
These two players are the 26th and 27th players overall in the Wisconsin 2009 class to verbal and the 11th and 12th headed to D2 programs.

Hoyt & Petersen are the 2nd and 3rd players to verbal from Team Wisconsin Select Samuels. Sam Price of Eau Claire North verballed Kent State.

Petersen is the 2nd player to verbal Mary. Shauna Knife of Bottineau is also headed there.

Hoyt is the 1st player to known player to verbal Michigan Tech.
