HIRT VERBALS
Kayla Hirt of Bemidji has verballed Minnesota. The 6-2 forward from the 2011 class averaged 14.6 ppg for the 20-7 Lumberjacks.
Hirt picked the Gophers over many other big D1 program offers after a visit to the Minnesota campus last weekend.

Hirt played with North Tartan 15s this past summer. Later she played with North Tartan Larson in the Nike Nationals and turned many top programs heads. "She solidified her status with the ability to play at the next level with her performance at Nike Nationals," said North Tartan director Bill Larson. "We are excited for her."

This is the 332nd player in the history of the North Tartan program that has either committed or played at the college level.

Hirt is the first player from the Minnesota 2011 class to verbal and the 2nd in the entire coverage area from the 2011 class to verbal.

Hirt will join two other North Tartan players Katie Loberg, and Shakila Boler, on the Gopher roster in the fall of 2011.
