HOW TO SCORE 22 A NIGHT
In the last issue of the Sporting News (Oct. 13) there is an article on how to score 30 ppg in the NBA. The article was by Rick Barry. Translating that to a high school time frame it comes out to 20 in 32 minute games and 22 in 36 minute games.
Not finding the link here are the main points---
1. Be a great shooter and create your own shot. Creating off the dribble is important.
2. Have the ability to drive right and left.
3. Shoot a high % at the free throw line. You also need to get to the line.
4. Run the floor and get offensive rebounds. These are easy baskets.
5. Don't get discouraged if your shot isn't falling. The odds improve you will make the next shot.

There is an upcoming traveling tournament in Inver Grove Hts. (Nov 1st-2nd),
On the girls side IGH needs the following;
4th grade (need 4 teams)
5c girls (need 3 teams),
5b girls (need 4 teams),
6c girls (need 4 teams),
6b Girls (need 1 team),
7c Girls (need 5 teams)
7b Girls (need 4 teams)
8b Girls (need 3 teams).
the cost of the tournament is 150.00 per team.
NO FRIDAY GAMES
All games played on hardwood floors
Trophies for 1ST., 2ND., 3RD., and consolation
GUARANTEED 3 GAMES,
Simley has one of the best concessions in the traveling circuit.
