MORE FALL EVENTS
There are quite a few evaluation/exposure tourneys going on throughout the country this weekend. One that the All Iowa Attack is taking a couple teams to is The Heart of America NCAA Girls Fall Showcase/Shootout in Overland Park, Kansas. One of their 16U teams (AIA Jensen) is playing, and also their eighth grade team (AIA Red) - 13U - is playing up. Both teams play all their games on Sunday, Oct 5.

Another tourney--USJN Battle of the Programs - Midwest, took place in Waukegan, IL on Saturday. This tourney is for 2010 players and under only. There are 16 teams playing - most from Illinois, few from Indiana and Wisconsin, and then a team from Kentucky, the Michigan Crossover, and the MO Valley Eclipse National Red team.

Updates will follow during the week.

SHOCKED
The Detroit Shock is one win away from the WNBA title as they topped San Antonio in game two of the series 69-61. Former Lynxster and Buckeye Katie Smith had 22 points for the Shock.
