RECRUITING NEWS
Duke was the first in the door at the Tayler Hill house.

PROFESSIONAL
Wisconsin's Jolene Anderson (South Shore, WI) is headed to Villeneuve d'Ascq in France with a one year contract.

SEASON PREVIEW

IOWA STATE HAPPENINGS
Some Iowa State players (including Amanda Nisleit of Woodbury) met some of their fans at the Aktion Club in Ames, Iowa last week.

CLINIC
The Minnesota Gophers coaches and players will be holding a mini clinic at the Colin Powell center in Minneapolis on Saturday from 9-12. Urban Ventures is also sponsoring the event. The men's basketball team has their mini clinic later in the day. The Event is already full.

YOUTH TOURNAMENT
UW Superior is hosting a 5th-8th grade tournament Saturday October 25.

KIRKWOOD GAMES
Cedar Rapids Washington will play three games this Sunday at Kirkwood. CRW plays Maquoketa Valley at noon, GMB at 2 pm; and Waco at 3 pm.

REDISTRICTING
North Dakota is planning to redistrict Class B. From KXMB.

Michigan has released their TV schedule. Ohio and Western Illinois has released their 2008-09 schedule.
