Borton Extended, Partnerships

COACHING NEWS
Gopher coach Pam Borton signed a six year contract extension out to the 2013-14 season. From the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Marquette has added three staffers for 2008-09. Angie Lewis has been named director of operations, Angie Nelp has been named assistant director of operations and Drew Smith has accepted a graduate assistantship.

Lauren Hall-Gregory has been hired as an assistant women's basketball coach at Sacred Heart. LHG was an assistant coach at the College of Saint Mary's in Nebraska.

Ken Gunther has been hired as the new girls basketball coach at Clio, Michigan. From the Flint Journal.

MULTITASKING
St. Paul Central girls basketball coach Willie Taylor is one of the multitasking coaches in an article in the StarTribune. Taylor coaches track in the spring.
