It was a battle of Ladies today at Eagan it was the Lightning over the Bucs 51-38. The Lightning is made up of Farmington players---freshman and sophs. The Bucs are from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, a class AA team between Faribault and Mankato.

The Lightning have players that are lean and have the hungry look. The used their full court press to full advantage as they struck for a 17-2 lead. On the first 12 possessions LL scored 8 times. LL had 9 points off second chancers in that run. The LB attacked inside and spent a lot of time at the line. The Bucs attempted 31 shots at the line and converted 12.
