MARYLAND'S RECRUITING
The Baltimore Sun asks five questions on the status of Maryland Recruiting. Destiny Williams of Benton Harbor, Michigan is on the Terps wish list.

GOING PRO
South Dakota's Jeana Hoffman (Mitchell, SD) is headed to the Netherlands to play with BV Leiderdorp. From KSFY.

COACHING NEWS
Brian Hirtz has been hired as the new girls basketball coach at Muskego, WI. He was the JV coach. From the Waukesha Freeman (scroll down a bit).

Anne Graner (Plainview) has been hired as an assistant women's basketball coach at Portland. Graner is a NDSCS and Portland grad.

MILLER TIME
Former Rochester Mayo players and co Miss Basketballs Kelly and Coco Miller will face the Lynx in back to back contests at home vs Phoenix and at Washington. From the StarTribune.

SHOOTING CLINIC
St. Thomas will hold three Sunday shooting clinics starting Sunday, October 12.

SCHEDULES
Eastern Michigan, Florida Gulf Coast, New Mexico, UW Milwaukee and Yale have released their 2008-09 basketball schedules.

WALK ON TRYOUTS
Western Illinois will have a walk on tryout Thursday, October 16.
