BOLER TRANSFERS
Junior point guard Shakila Boler has transferred from Bloomington Kennedy to Minneapolis Roosevelt. The 5-9 guard has started at Kennedy the last three years and averaged 16 points per game for the section 2AAAA runner up Eagles in 2007-08.

Boler has a brother that attends Roosevelt.

Boler verballed Minnesota last September.

This story has been developing since June when the first stories began trickling out she was headed to the Teddies. Boler will be in class at Roosevelt tomorrow. The Boler's have a home in the Roosevelt neighborhood. They also have a residence in the Apple Valley area.

Boler suffered a knee injury in July at an all star camp in Chicago. It is unclear whether she will play the 2009-10 season. Reports have varied to late December to late February for a return to action.

This move throws the 2AAAA section into a horse race. Kennedy did win the Sweet 16 this August without Boler.
If Boler does return to action early for Roosevelt it will set up a very interesting 4AA match up with Jordan who was the AA state runner ups last season.
