MORE BASKETBALL ON TRACK
Alicia Brown of Vermillion, SD won four events including her fourth straight 400 championship in the South Dakota State track meet. Brown will be playing basketball next year close to home at the University of South Dakota. From the Yankton Press & Dakotan.
Jessica Waldvogel of Wausau West is headed to the Wisconsin State track meet in four events: the 100, 200, long jump, and 4x100. Waldvogel plays for Team Wisconsin Select 15 during the summer. From the Wausau Daily Herald.
Earlier in the Iowa State Track meet Jennifer Jorgenson of Southeast Webster-Grand won the Long Jump in class A. She is headed to Pacific to play basketball.
Looking at the StarTribune track honor roll today with these basketball players leading these events:
Shot Put: Janae Burich of Roseville; also on the list Kim Hovey, Red Wing; LaiShema Hampton, St. Louis Park, and Jackie Voigt, Park-Cottage Grove.
Discus: LaiShema Hampton leads the pack with Hovey again and Kristin Loobeek, Armstrong on the list.
High Jump: Devyn Smith of Roseville leads the pack. Also on the list Elizabeth Wilson, Armstrong; and defending champion Hanna Muegge, Hopkins

Coaches and Players: The end of the school year is near. The Breakdown would like to invite you to participate in Minnesota's largest summer basketball tour. We still have a few spots available. All tourneys are 1 day and on Saturday's. Here are a few important items about what teams receive:
