BATTLE OF THE HARDWOOD
The Battle of the Hardwood has their girls basketball tournament schedules posted. The games will be played at Woodbury.
In the 17U division there are some interesting games right off the bat. The #1 team in the gbbrecruit poll NC Heat will face #4 North Tartan Larson at 11:45 on Saturday morning. Four of the top 8 teams are in the 17u division with Metro Stars 19 also there.
In the 16u division has four top 10 teams plus the #1 team in the 15u poll North Tartan 15.

POTENTIAL

BANNED
A 12 year old girl in Oregon (Jaime Nared, 6-1) is more than good enough to play with the boys (30 ppg), but now is banned from playing in the basketball league because of complaints from other teams. From the Houston Chronicle. Plus video from WLTX (1:28).
