Michigan State beat Iowa 73-65. MSU scored 51 points in the second half. Lauren Aitch (Lansing Waverly) had 10 for MSU. Mia Johnson did not score for the Spartans. Stacy Schlapkohl (Durant) had 12 for Iowa. Krista VandeVenter (Osseo) added 2 while Kachine Alexander (Benilde-St. Margaret's) did not score for Iowa.
Ohio State beat Indiana 71-59. Tamarah Riley (Detroit DePorres) had 16 for OSU. Jamie Braun (Marshfield, WI) had 25 for Indiana.
