HOLY ANGELS stars 93,

MINNEAPOLIS ROOSEVELT teddies 62

2ND game of four
Roosevelt had one lead at 2-0 after Kiara Strickland took the opening tip in for a lay up. After that it was Holy Angels and the technopyric fantasmagoric electric point cavalcade. HA had 50 points by half time, Twice in the first half they had five straight scoring possessions. Their longest drought was three and that was only once. Maggie Slawson ripped the twine for 15 in the first half as HA led 50-27 at break.
HA continued to roll in the second half. HA strung 7 possessions together and built a 69-35 lead with 13:20 to go. Roosevelt pulled their starters with 15 minutes to go. One would be in once in a while due to numbers, but the game was clearly over. The only question was if HA was going to crack the century mark. HA had 80 with 9:15 to go; 90 with 3 minutes left. HA didn[t score the last 2 mintues of the game as everybody on the 18 player roster smelled the floor.

Holy Angels is now 24-4 and will face DeLaSalle on Thursday in Hastings. In the earlier confrontation this season HA beat DLS on the road 62-58. Roosevelt ends their season at 16-11.
