AAAA SEMIFINALS
ST. PAUL CENTRAL minutemen 79, EDINA hornets 41


SPC's speed, depth, strength and power kept the tournament buzzing with a shut down performance in the first half. SPC held Edina to 17 straight scoreless possessions It was an eight minute drought in which SPC rattled off a 27-0 run. In the drought Edina had 9 turnovers. Angel Robinson added another chapter to her storybook season with 17 points. Edina put forth full effort, but it was no match for the SPC juggernaut.

The bench emptying came early with the starters gone by 6 minutes left. SPC had a 48 point lead at the juncture. Edina outscored SPC 14-4 the last six minutes.
