Iowa State Wins "Home" Game

NCAA TOURNAMENT
MINNEAPOLIS GAMES
Iowa State rallied to beat Washington 79-60 in front of a friendly crowd. The Des Moines Register says ISU dominated. Also from the StarTribune.
West Central's Megan Ronhovde had five for ISU.
ISU is even getting a fan bus ready for Monday's game against Georgia.

Georgia beat Belmont 53-36. The StarTribune called the performance Lackluster.

Georgia Tech won a dramatic 55-54 last second win over DePaul. Jacqua Williams made the game winner. From the StarTribune.

Purdue pushed past Oral Roberts 63-42.

The Pioneer Press has some tournament tidbits.

Marquette downed Louisiana Lafayette 87-58. Racine St. Catherine's Krystal Ellis and Chicago Regina Dominican's Christina Quaye each had 17 for Marquette.

Of course the big upset of the day was Ohio State losing to unheralded Marist 67-63.

WNIT
South Dakota State won their first WNIT contest beating Illinois State 61-48. SDSU will host either Iona or Indiana on Monday. St. Peter's Megan Vogel had 23 for SDSU.

JUCO
Kirkwood won the D2 NJCAA title with a 84-55 victory over Kankakee. From the Des Moines Register.
