TRAGIC DEATH AT ARMY

Maggie Dixon, Army Coach, tragically passed away due to heart problems. She was a 28 year old coach that led Army to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school's history. VERYSP MOVES TO PURDUE

Northern Colorado fired Ron Vlasin on Thursday. He finished his fifth year at the school and had a 13-15 record. Northern Colorado is in its last year of transition to full D1 play. Kelly Mullaney, Emily Neal, and Kelly Finley, all Breck grads will be at Colorado State next season as will Lindsey Laur from Cretin-Derham Hall. Casey Shepherd from Prior Lake apparrently has given up on basketball there.
