Seeding Possibilities

SEEDINGS
The seedings begin in about 24 minutes. Here are my picks. I have SEEN all the team perform. I don't think ANYONE else has seen these teams. Coaches are going to figure how they don't want to play this one and jockey for position. This is a cold eye evaluating the REAL value of these teams.
AAAA
1 Minneapolis South: 1 loss to Hopkins has been rectified.
2 St. Paul Central: two losses to South, one to Long Beach, one to Centennial. When they played Eden Prairie they beat them by 26 (for comparison)
3 Eastview. For comparison sake beat EP by 5 and 4.
4 Osseo: taking down Centennial works in their favor.
5 Chaska: the 8 losses are deceptive. 2 were when Boylan was out. and the lake is much tougher that the Central Lakes.
6 St. Cloud Tech. One loss, but the strength of schedule isn't there. Only top 10 win was against Eden Valley-Watkins.
7 St. Francis. North Suburban schedule. Good wins for SF include Minnehaha and Totino-Grace late.
8 Owatonna. Schedule strength factors in. no power wins 1-4 against Lake/Suburban East teams.

AAA
The top three should be easy. After that it gets crowded in a hurry.
1 DeLaSalle. Has been #1 all year
2 Rogers. Has been #2 all year
3 Minnehaha. only lost to two teams this year (DeLaSalle twice, St. Franics once).
4 Fergus Falls. three losses (two to St. Cloud Tech). One to Brainerd. no losses to AAA teams.
5 Totino-Grace. Record points this direction. Early season losses a distant memory. Haven't lost to class opponents.
6 Marshall. hot of late 11 straight wins after being 9-8. Two losses to out of state powers.
7 Grand Rapids. was 3 of 4 and has doubled Marshall in winning streak with 22. All four losses to AAAA teams.
8 Austin. Early season win over Owatonna

It should be interesting. AAA is definitely a scramble.

I have heard different scenarios with AAAA.

Next up: I am off to a meeting. I will come back later in the day with all the seedings, all the Minnesota and Wisconsin section finals, and the winners in the state tournaments in the area states--at least link the stories.
