Purdue edged Illinois 58-56. Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill) hit the game winner and had 12 points for Purdue. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had 19 for Illinois.

ATLANTIC 10 SEMIS
Temple beat Dayton 56-51. Shenita Landry (Milwaukee King) had 9 for Temple. Brittany Holterman (Racine Prairie) had 6 for Dayton.

BIG EAST QUARTERS
Louisville beat Rutgers 57-56. Brandie Radde (Niles, MI) had 3 for Louisville.

CUSA CHAMPIONSHIP
SMU beat UTEP 73-57. Jareica Hughes (Southfield-Lathrup, MI) had 19 for UTEP.

Marshall's Tynikki Crook (Detroit Pershing) was named to the All Tournament team.

MID AMERICAN FIRST ROUND
Ohio beat Central Michigan 68-65. Lauren Kohn (Adrian, MI) had 18 for Ohio. Britni Houghton (Lansing Waverly) had 22 for CMU.

Western Michigan beat Akron 84-54. Brenna Bankston (Frankfort, MI) and Ebony Cleary (Detroit King) each had 17 for WMU.

The Mid American Conference has handed out their awards. Western Michigan's Tiera DeLaHoussaye (Detroit Country Day) made the list and was defensive player of the year. Central Michigan's Britni Houghton made the third all conference team.

PATRIOT SEMIS
Bucknell beat American 60-52. Talicia Jackson (DeLaSalle) had 11 for American.

SUMMIT QUARTERS
Oral Roberts beat IPFW 82-67. Samantha Edwards (Okemos, MI) had 6 for IPFW.

IUPUI beat Southern Utah 62-34. Jessica Bennett (Milwaukee Washington) had 2 for IUPUI.

North Dakota is the #2 seed in the North Central Region next week. That tournament will be held in Vermillion, SD.

Michigan Tech is the #6 seed in the Great Lakes Region. That tournament is held at Missouri Science & Tech in Springfield, MO.
