NEW LIFE eagles 63, WEST LUTHERAN warriors 29

New Life broke free from a 10 all tie with a 17-0 run in the first half to win their first section championship. It was over by halftime with NL up 46-18.

West Lutheran scored first and had a 5-2 lead at their widest. Holly Recht scored the first 10 points for WL, and then didn't score again. New Life had their 17-0 run when WL had a 13 possession drought. Jenny Ramey had 8 in the run and Rebekah Schmidt chipped in 7 during the run. Ramey had 12 at half.

In the second half it was more of the same. NL led 63-27 with 8 minutes left. By that time they had already started to sub. The Eagles failed to score the rest of the way and had a 9 possession drought to finish the game.
