MINNESOTA REPORTS
In case you missed it late last night, I posted two spy out and abouts from the 4AAAA semis plus the two O&A I attended with the LeSueur-Henderson/Blue Earth 2AA West Final in Mankato and then the GHEC/Nicollet 2A North final in parking challenged Gustavus. If you have a game report, go to my profile and email me. Unfortunately I can't be in every gym. But thanks to the readers we know have reports. It takes a team to get the information out.
SECTION PLAYOFFS

2: GHEC topped Nicollet (I reported on this last night) 49-31. GHEC coach Rick Uttech picked up career win #400. From the Mankato Free Press and New Ulm Journal.
In the North section it was #3 seed Cedar Mountain/Comfrey beating Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s 47-40. From the New Ulm Journal.

TIDBITS & MILESTONES
Austin employs plenty of players and plenty of pressure. Scott Kolb of the Austin Post Bulletin likes it.
Johnson's long distance bombers, Totino-Grace's defense and Autumn Beasley's 2000th point are chronicled in the StarTribune.
Megan Howard joined the 1000 point club last night in the St. Paul Central win over White Bear Lake.
Beasley is the 11th 2000 point scorer in Minnesota this year and the 8th from the 2008 class.
Howard is the 72nd 1000 point scorer in Minnesota this year and the 52nd from the 2008 class.
If I am missing a milestoner from this 2007-08 season, go to my profile and email me the details.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Katya Leick of Park-Cottage Grove leads the StarTribune's Athletes of the Week. Also on the list Shakila Boler of Bloomington Kennedy, Carolyn Blair-Mobley of St. Paul Johnson, and Casey Mann of Rogers.
