North Butler has a chance to defend their title as they edged Davenport Assumption 36-32. NB trailed 32-31 with 39 seconds to go. From the Des Moines Register, Mason City Globe Gazette, and the QuadCity Times.
It sets up a rematch with Battle Creek-Ida Grove who survived their own wild ride with a 48-43 win over AGWSR. From the Sioux City Journal and the Marshalltown Times-Republican. The Marshalltown Times-Republican has an appreciation for what AGWSR has accomplished the past couple of years.
