MINNESOTA REPORTS
Last night I posted who won the finals in the six sections that had them. I will do the same tonight after my two out & abouts---think Pavillion. But here are the links and stories from the games last night.
AAAA
3. I was there at St. Paul Arlington watching the St. Paul Central stun and run show and posted my out & about. Now you can read about the the SPC/Cretin-Derham Hall game from the StarTribune. on the back end of that story they have the 3AAA final won by DeLaSalle 45-43 over Holy Angels. Of course the St. Paul Pioneer Press has their story as well.

2: It was Aggens and Boevers that propelled Worthington to the upset win over Marshall last night. From the Worthington Daily Globe and the Marshall Independent.

7: #2 seed Hibbing beat #1 Duluth East 76-63 and erased memories of last year's 7AAA final. From the Duluth News Tribune.

1. Rushford-Peterson is making its first journey to state for girls as they beat the youngsters from New Life 61-46. From the Winona Daily News. Also the Rochester Post Bulletin.

3: Lac Qui Parle Valley is looking for its first journey to the tournament. They will need to get by Pipestone. From the West Central Tribune.
8: It is familiar rivals Crookston vs Barnesville tonight for the 8AA championship. Crookston beat undefeated Barnesville last season in the 8AA finals 54-48. Barnesville upended Crookston earlier this year 66-55. Rubber match at Concordia in Moorhead. From the Crookston Times.

7: Crosby-Ironton and Esko will battle in a rematch of last year's finals.

4: #1 Becker looks to make their first journey. Sartell is in the way.
5: defending champ Benilde-St. Margaret's needs to get past Mpls North.
6: Rogers is another step away from the tournament. Totino-Grace is their opponent.
8: Detroit Lakes will look to beat upstart Perham.

1: Lake rivals Rosemount looks to get past the youngsters of Lakeville North
2: #2 Edina sees #4 Eden Prairie in the battles of Es
4: Roseville has a chance to repeat. Forest Lake is looking for their second upset.
5: Osseo is looking to return to state for the first time since 2004. Wayzata is looking to go for the first time.
6: It is Mpls South vs Eastview for the right to go
7: Champlin Park vs Blaine in 7. CP beat Blaine by a total of four points in two games.
8: Moorhead lost to St. Cloud Tech in January and will be looking to avenge their loss.

LATE RESULTS
Crosby-Ironton advanced to the finals of 7AA with a 63-53 win over Eveleth-Gilbert. They will take on Esko in the finals tonight in Duluth. From the Brainerd Dispatch.

The Mankato Elks-KTOE-Pepsi has named their 8 member all Mankato city team for boys and girls. From the Mankato Free Press.

COACHING NEWS
Mahtomedi's Janine Nelson resigned. Mahtomedi was 19-8 this season. From the Pioneer Press.
