AA FINALS

2 Fairmont was the winner, not Hayfield. The AP reports were wrong it is Fairmont over Hayfield 65-56. It is Fairmont's first trip ever. From the Fairmont Sentinel and Rochester Post Bulletin.

3 Pipestone beat Lac Qui Parle Valley 67-41. Pipestone returns to state after a one year absence. From the West Central Tribune.

4 Jordan beat Minnehaha 68-47. no report on this one.

5 Norwood-Young America prevented Eden Valley-Watkins from a return trip to state with a 56-43 win. It is NYA's first trip. From the St. Cloud Times.

6 Albany beat Pierz 72-48 for their fifth straight State trip. #2 Albany is the highest team left in the polls as #1 Winona Cotter went down last week. From the St. Cloud Times.

7 Esko beat Crosby-Ironton 50-45. It is Esko's second straight region final victory over CI. From the Duluth News Tribune.

8 Barnesville beat Crookston for the second time this year 72-66. Crookston was state runner up last year and ended Barnesville's undefeated season last year. From the Fargo Forum. ( the same story is in the Grand Forks Herald).

11 am: Jordan vs Barnesville
1 pm: Caledonia vs Pipestone
3 pm: Fairmont vs Albany
