Wisconsin beat Michigan 81-59. Jenese Banks had 23 to top Wisconsin. Carney-Nadeau's Carly Benson had 11 to lead Michigan. Jolene Anderson's determination is the focus of the Wisconsin State Journal. Minnesota beat Northwestern 60-43. Emily Fox led MN with 12, Fosston's Kelly Roysland added 9. Breck's Melissa Miller did not score for NW. The StarTribune looks at the Gophers' depth as a factor in the win. The PioneerPress looks at the fast start by MN. The Gophers now play Michigan State. Iowa State beat Texas Tech 72-68. It was the first win for ISU at Texas Tech. West Central's Megan Ronhovde led ISU with 18.
Kansas beat Missouri. Adrian MI's Kelly Kron had 4 points for Kansas.

UW Green Bay beat Chicago Loyola 78-60. Bay Port's Nicole Soulis and Ashwaubenon's Kati Harty each had 12 for UWGB.
UW Milwaukee rallied from 18 down to beat Illinois Chicago 89-83. The loss snapped an 11 game win streak for UIC. The Menasha Mauler Traci Edwards had 22 to lead UWM. Holy Angels' Jessie Miller had 14 for UIC.

South Dakota State beat IPFW 70-58. Worthington's Maria Boever had 8 for SDSU.
North Dakota State beat NJIT 73-54. Climax-Fisher's Brenda Slyt had 20 for NDSU.

Illinois State beat Drake 67-61. The Des Moines Register looks at the late game play. Independence Truman's Lindsay Whorton had 23 for Drake, St. Croix Lutheran's Lauren Dybing did not score for Drake.
Indiana State beat Creighton 69-65. Eastview's Michelle Kaus had 11, and Mpls North's Tyrai Bronson had 6 for Creighton.

UNLV upset New Mexico 70-59. Roseville's Amy Beggin had 5 for New Mexico.

Hawaii beat Idaho 64-43. Piedmont Hills' Pam Tambini had 15 to lead Hawaii. Cedarburg Molly Malone did not score for Idaho.

Gonzaga beat Portland 68-55. Plainview's Anne Graner had 9 for Portland.

The Northern Sun has listed their all Conference team. Amanda Behnke of Concordia St. Paul (St. Croix Lutheran) was named player of the year. 4 MN made the top 3 teams; 3 ND players; and 2 each from IA, WI, and Nebraska; Montana and Washington provided one each. Only one player smaller than 5-8 made the AC list: Amy Lawson of Bemdji State (Spencer IA).

The MIAC has named their all conference teams. Jess Vadnais of Gustavus (Hudson, WI) was player of the year. They don't distinguish from first team, second team. MN had 10 make the squad with ND putting 2 on with one each from WI, IA, and Oregon.
