MINNESOTA REPORT
AAAA FINALS

1 #3 seed Lakeville North beat Rosemount 45-43 in Rochester. LN had better balance than Rosemount with only Cassie Rochel reaching double digits with 10. Rosemount was led by Megan Eul with 19. This will be the first time as Lakeville North, but Lakeville has been to the dance 5 times before under Andy Berkvam.

2 Edina beat Eden Prairie 56-49 to make the state for the first time since 2002. Of course you have read the out & about by now. Here is the StarTribune's account along with the recaps of 5, 7, also AAA 4, 5 and 6

4 Roseville beat Forest Lake 56-49 to advance for the third straight year.

5 Osseo was a #1 seed that made it to the ball. They halted Wayzata 68-58. Kate Thompson had 20 for Wayzata. It is Osseo's first trip since 2004.

6 Minneapolis South returns to the dance after a one year off. Check out the MS/Eastview out & about from last night when South won 67-55.

7 Champlin Park beat Blaine for the third time this season. This time by the largest margin of 74-68. It is CP's first trip since 1999.

8 Moorhead got a mesaure of revenge for a 56-54 loss in January to St. Cloud Tech. The Spuds topped Tech 64-60 to advance. Trish Vanyo made the killer 3 to break the Techsters hearts. From the Fargo Forum and St. Cloud Times both stories are the same so I will just go with the St. Cloud Times Link.

IF I WERE SEEDING
1: St. Paul Central
2: Mpls South
3: Champlin Park
4: Edina
5: Lakeville North
6: Moorhead
7: Osseo
8: Roseville

The battles are going to be for 2/3 and 4-7. From my Numbers LN has the top defense of the 8 teams left with the pp100 formula used in all games that I have seen.
