IOWA REPORTS
The State tournament gets underway tomorrow in Des Moines. I made the trip last year, but this year wasn't given press credentials, so I will have to watch from afar. I like the Iowa tournament for this reason: all games at one site spread out over the whole week. Other states should also showcase the talent so fans don't have to scramble between venues or half way across the state like in South Dakota.
Here is a schedule of games from the Omaha World Herald.
PREVIEWS
Here is the a preview from the Fort Dodge Messenger on Manson Northwest Webster who is making the tournament for the first time in 34 years.
The Des Moines Register has a general look at the tourney with small tidbits of information.
The DMR also says to keep an eye on Molly McClelland of Valley and Nelia Olson of IKM.
