MN action, injury, transfer

MN ACTION
The HS season opened this weekend and some of the results are expected, and some unexpected.
Hopkins won the Hamline tournament beating Centennial 58-55 in a battle of top 10 teams.
Some top scorers in games this week include
Kali Olstad, Elgin-Millville 42 points in a 92-63 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo. Olstad will join her sister at Concordia St. Paul next season.
Jenna Smith, Bloomington Kennedy dropped in 37 points in a 103-27 win over overmatched Mpls Henry. Smith will attend Illinois next season.
Two teams that were in the top 10s in their respective classes were upset. Waseca lost to DeLaSalle in the Red Wing tournament, and Eden Valley-Watkins lost to Holy Family in the Norwood-Young America Tournament.
Mpls Roosevelt is on the rise. They won the Red Wing tournament with wins over Red Wing (57-31) and De La Salle (59-53). Roosevelt was 2-16 last year.

INJURY
MN #4 2007 is injured and it is unclear how long she will be out.

Heidi Rosenbaum is now at Sioux City North. Last year she played at Dakota Valley, SD.
