Class A will feature 6-8 Alyssa DeHaan of Grandville. She is averaging 28 ppg the last three games. Southfield-Lathrup and AH Avondale will match two teams who were #1 during the year, but both have injuries. AH Avondale lost China Threatt in the second meeting with SL, while Jerica Hughes has been dinged up with an ankle for SL. It will be hard to go against King with their two D1 signees against Monroe.
In B, Detroit Country Day looks to be unstoppable. Defensively they are giving up 21 ppg in their last four games. They know how to get it done.
In Class C it looks as if Inkster will take the title.
The Class D quarterfinal between Oakland Christian and Portland St. Patrick may provide the champion.
