6AAAA SEMIFINALS
EASTVIEW lightning 61, APPLE VALLEY eagles 55
A case of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. On defense Apple Valley had a defense designed to slow down and stymie Brittnye McSparron. AV led at half time 26-25 and led 28-25 right off the bat in the second half. McSparron only had 5 points at half. 
But it was on offense that AV was the Mr. Hyde character. AV had 12 turnovers in each half, not to mention the countless rushed shots with no weak side rebounders wearing white. Eastview took the lead with about 15 minutes to go at 30-28, and never trailed after that. The Lightning's biggest lead came at 47-39 with a little over 8 minutes to go. AV started to rally and cut the margin to as close as 52-49 with 2:15 to go after a Bentley Mancini 3. After that Eastview went to the line on five of their last six possession. In fact Eastview scored on their last nine possessions to pull out a 61-55 white knuckle win over district rival AV.
