GRAB BAG
There are no games scheduled today in Minnesota because the schedule makers were trying to avoid the traditional caucus day. Instead the politicians pulled a fast one and moved the caucus up to "Super Duper" Tuesday. That is the reason for the empty date.

Team Wisconsin will be holding open tryouts for 13U-14U-15U-16/17U teams March 16 in Madison, WI and also March 22 in Eau Claire, WI. Info is on the website
Viking Club is hosting the Midwest Elite Showcase April 19-20 during the Spring observation period. This is for elite teams. There are also Senior teams for those seniors still looking for a place to play.

ALL STATE
IOWA:
Four players from the Waterloo area-- Kayla Waskow of Dunkerton, Indy Uhlenhopp of North Butler, Chelsea Poppens of Aplington-Parkersburg and Ashley Sickles of Crestwood-- were named to the INA All State teams. From the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier and Jesup Citizen Herald.
All Conference: Ashley Houston of Fort Madison was named to the first team in the Southeast Conference. From the Fort Madison Daily Democrat.
The Mississippi Athletic Conference announced their All Conference team. From the Clinton Herald.
AWARDS
UTEP's Jareica Hughes (Southfield-Lathrup, MI) has been named to the C-USA All Conference first team.
Creighton's Sara Cain (Cedar Rapids Prairie) was named Missouri Valley Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Three UW Milwaukee players were named to the All State team. Traci Edwards (Menasha) made the first team.

In the latest D2 poll South Dakota is #3; North Dakota is #5; and Concordia-St. Paul is #6. Hillsdale is at #23 and Michigan Tech comes in at #25.
