Nebraska beat Colorado 80-71. Cory Montgomery (Cannon Falls) had 8 for Nebraska. Hannah Skildum (Mounds View) had 3 for Colorado.

Iowa State beat Texas Tech 66-58. Alison Lacey (Ballard, IA) had 32 for ISU. Amanda Nisleit (Woodbury) added two for the Cyclones. The Des Moines Register looks at the increase in attendance since Coach Fennelly took the helm at ISU. The crowds have increased from 400 to 8831.

EAST
St. Joseph's beat St. Louis 65-44. Amy Wold (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) had 5 for St. Joseph's.

SOUTH
Arkansas State beat South Alabama 70-58. Kayla Pospisil (Marion, IA) did not score for ASU.

WEST
New Mexico beat Colorado State 74-47. Amy Beggin (Roseville) had 8 for New Mexico. Emily Neal (Breck) had 13 for Colorado State. Lauren Young (Edina) had 4, Elle Queen (Minnetonka) and Kelly Finley each did not score for CSU.

HIGH FIVE
Iowa took both titles thanks to the 32 outburst by Alison Lacey in what turned out to be a two team race.

Concordia Moorhead beat Hamline 74-45. Sara Sorbo (Adams-Edmore, ND) had 15 for CM.
Britta Schwartzhoff (Hayward, WI) and Mary Wilkowski (Savannah St. Andrew's, GA) each had 10 for Hamline.

Gustavus beat St. Mary's 58-55. Jess Vadnais (Hudson, WI) had 19 for Gustavus. Jess Weisbrod (Winona Cotter) had 24 for St. Mary's.

Macalester rallied from 13 down to beat Augsburg 64-62. Trina PaStarr (Mpls Southwest) had 22 points and 12 rebounds for Mac. Three players had 12 for Augsburg: Shannon Renne (Nicollet), Katie LaGrave (Okinawa Japan), and Michelle Richter (Chaska).

St. Benedict beat St. Olaf 90-58. Judy Falvey (Lakeville) had 18 for St. Ben's. K Stoermer (Wayzata) had 15 for St. Olaf.

St. Thomas beat Bethel 78-70. Sheena Porter-Wroz (DeLaSalle) had 31 for St. Thomas. Kiersten Hansen (West Lutheran) had 14 for Bethel.

WIAC
Eau Claire beat Oshkosh 74-42. Rachel Mueggenborg (West Salem, WI) had 29 for Eau Claire. Whitney Thriver (Oskosh West) had 11 for Oshkosh.

River Falls beat Superior 70-41. Caitlin Hunstock (Mpls South) had 18 for River Falls. Lisa Thielen (Mt. Iron-Buhl) had 9 for Superior.

Stout beat Stevens Point 92-79 in overtime. Julia Hirssig (Rochester Mayo) had 30 for Stout. Laura Neuenfeldt (Two Rivers, WI) had 18 for Stevens Point.

LaCrosse vs Platteville was postponed due to weather.

IIAC
Buena Vista beat Wartburg 78-56. Aubrey Hauswirth (Pocahontas, IA) and Margo Muhlbauer (IKM, IA) had 12 each for BV. Samantha Harrington (Nashaua-Plainfield, IA) had 15 for Wartburg.
Muhlbauer was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team.

MN West beat Riverland 72-55. Stacy Bush (Hills-Beaver Creek) had 22 for MW. Brooke Monson (Austin) had 26 for Riverland. From the Worthington Daily Globe.
