Big 10 1-2, Vandy Upset

GAME REPORTS
The Big 10 was 1-2 last night
Ohio State beat Tennessee State 88-41. Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron) had 6 points for OSU.

UAB topped Illinois 69-56. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) led Illinois with 12 points. Smith was Big 10 player of the week.

Illinois Chicago stopped Northwestern 53-45. Jessica Miller (Holy Angels) had 13 for UIC. Cassie Johnson (Eastview) did not score for UIC. Savannah Stedman (Ortonville Brandon, MI) had 2 points for Northwestern, Melissa Miller (Breck) did not score.

Other games
Eastern Michigan beat instate rival Detroit 656-54. Brittany Tyson (Ann Arbor Huron) had 11 for EMU.

Indiana State upset #17 Vanderbilt 77-72 in overtime. Amy Malo (Fairmont) had one point for Vanderbilt.

Kansas edged UMKC 64-58. It was Kansas coach Bonnie Henrickson's (Willmar) 200th career win. Marta Waalen (St. Paul Central) did not score for UMKC.

Morehead State edged IUPUI 56-54. Jessica Bennett (Milwaukee Washington) did not score for IUPUI.

George Washington topped Kentucky 75-65. Samantha Mahoney (West Bloomfield, MI) had 17 for Kentucky.
