LEICK VERBALS
Katya Leick has verballed Nebraska. The 6-0 perimeter player from Park-Cottage Grove averaged 14.9 ppg for the 25-3 Wolfpack. She will be used as a "3" with the Cornhuskers.Leick plays with NC Heat, 6 time AAU State champ, in the summer. She made the game winning shot against Metro Stars 19 in the Battle of the Hardwood championship. Leick was named defensive player of the week by gbbrecruit in week 10 this summer.
Leick is the 7th player from the 2009 Minnesota class to verbal a D1 school and the 11th overall to commit early.
PCG teammates Tina Fisher (Ohio) and Holly Riesselman (MSU Moorhead) also made early decisions.
