TEAM WI SR WHITE 50, TEAM WI SELECT DOUCETTE 44
TWSW trailed 6-0 to start the game thanks to five empty trips. The veterans quickly tied it up at 8 and zoomed out to a 15-10 lead on a 15-4 run. The Senior team then went into a nine possession drought. TWSD took advantage of that with a 10-0 run and led 20-15. Val Schuster scored five straight later in the half to cut a 7 point deficit down to 23-21. Two straight baskets by TWSD gave the younger team a 27-21 lead at half time.
TWSD led 32-25 after a basket by Briana Radowicz. That was their high water mark. TWSD had a 1/14 offensive sequence that opened the door for the seniors. The took advantage of the youngsters down time with a 15-2 run. The young guns weren't done fighting however. They scraped back with five minutes left. The seniors then took the air out of the ball.
