BIG TEN
Wisconsin women's basketball coach Lisa Stone once again speaks to the media. Questions 3 and 5 deal with the possibility of getting to the NCAA tournament.
ALL CONFERENCE
Three Minnesota Gophers made the All Conference list with Emily Fox, Leslie Knight (Hopkins) and Ashley Ellis-Milan (St. Paul Central).
Wisconsin's Jolene Anderson (South Shore, WI) was named player of the year.
Five Iowa Hawkeyes were rewarded including Kristi Smith, Johanna Solverson, Wendy Ausdemore (TriCenter, IA), Stacy Schlapkohl (Durant, IA), and Megan Skouby.
Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) and Lori Bjork (Johnston, IA) made the squad from Illinois.
Three Indiana Hoosiers made the list including Jamie Braun (Marshfield, WI).
Three Purdue Boilermakers made the list including Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill).
Ohio State's Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron, MI) was named defensive player of the year.
Hawkeye coach Lisa Bluder was named coach of the year for the second time in her career.
SUMMIT
North Dakota State coach Amy Ruley won her final contest 93-64 over Centenary. Lisa Bue (Austin) and Brenda Slyt (Climax-Fisher) each had 19 for NDSU. IPFW beat UMKC 86-67. Maggie O'Connell (Cedar Rapids Xavier) had 11 for IPFW. Alysa Klein (Okoboji, IA) had 20 and Marta Waalen (St. Paul Central) added 4 for UMKC.
South Dakota State beat Oral Roberts 88-67. Ketty Cornemann (Yankton) had 14 for SDSU.
Oakland beat Southern Utah 61-43. Jessica Pike (Clawson, MI) had 20 for Oakland.
Oakland is the #1 seed in the Summit Tournament. NDSU and SDSU are not eligible this year for the title.
MID AMERICAN
Ohio beat Northern Illinois 72-68. Lauren Kohn (Adrian, MI) had 15 for Ohio. Jackie Hiebert (Hopkins) added 2 for Ohio.
BIG EAST
Louisville beat Villanova 84-52. Brandie Radde (Niles, MI) had 8 for Louisville.
Southern Florida beat Marquette 61-56. Angel Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 19 for Marquette. The Marquette starting line up was different due to a "team matter." Robinson did not start and Krystal Ellis and Kelly Lam never played. From the Marquette Tribune.

Creighton's Sara Cain (Cedar Rapids Prairie) has been named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week.
SIGNING
Former UWGB point guard Natalie Berglin (Green Bay Notre Dame) has signed with the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA.
HIGH FIVE
Minnesota edged out Michigan thanks to three 19 point games by Lisa Bue, Brenda Slyt and Angel Robinson. The Indidividual High Five was split with Jessica Pike and Alyssa Klein.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
The teams are set for the 2008 Region XI womens NJCAA Division II tournament.
The winner of the Region XI tournament advances to a Bi-regional game inCouncil Bluffs, Iowa on March 11th against the Nebraska champion.
All first round games are played at the highest seeds home court.
