FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Angel Robinson of Marquette (St. Paul Central) picked up her 2nd freshman of the week honor in the Big East Conference. She also took home the prize on Dec. 17.
MORE 1000s
In the St. Francis game vs. St. Louis Park Ali Schwartzwald (07) scored her 1000 career point. In that game she also recorded a double-double with her 20 points along with 10 rebounds, 4 steals and 6 assists.
That made a total of 6 players from Minnesota to cross over the 1000 barrier of Friday. Also joining the club were: Hali Hendrickson of Albert Lea; Sam Larsen of Albany; Katie Loberg of Princeton; Kassie Robinson of Simley; and Jill Storlie of Byron.
on Thursday, Jan. 3 Ashley Walterman of GHEC (07) reached the 1000 point mark with 10 in a 55-37 win over previously unbeaten Martin County West. GHEC is #6 in the A poll.
Doubling that was Hannah Draxten of Fergus Falls with her 2000th point on Thursday against Alexandria. She had 27 in the 58-48 win.
RECORDS
3: Sari Noga of Parkers Prairie (10) hit 13 of 15 threes against Rothsay on Friday to beat the state record of 10. Noga would be in 6th place with her 3% that game.
Also last week Melissa Fitz of Minneapolis Southwest (07) was 7 for 8 three-pt shots on thursday, Jan 3rd in a 62-51 loss to Bloomington Jefferson. This would put her in 7th place in the history books for one game in Minnesota.

Lindsey Beckendorf of Nicollet (07) is now the all time leading rebounder at her school with 724. She set the mark Friday against Alden-Conger in a 65-61 win.
POLLS
The Breakdown State Polls will come out every Sunday night till the end of the year. The polls have 3 components. The first came out yesterday.
LATE RESULTS

BIG 10 TOURNAMENT
