BARONDEAU, SCHOEN VERBAL
Mikayla Barondeau, Leola-Frederick, SD has made a verbal to Northern State. The 5-11 guard averaged 17.5 ppg for the 16-6 Class A Titans. Barondeau was All conference in the Lake Region and is over 1000 career points. She played her summer ball with Dakota Hardwood Threat.Barondeau is the 9th player in the South Dakota 2008 class to verbal and the 4th to verbal a D2 school. She is the 9th player to verbal Northern State. She joins

Brittany Schoen, a 5-6 guard from South Central High School in Harrison County, Indiana, gave a verbal commitment to Indiana State University last weekend. Schoen has averaged more than 20 ppg her four years in school. South Central finished 19-6 last season. Schoen is an AAU All American this year with the Ohio Valley Storm. From the Terre Haute News.
Schoen is the 16th player in the Indiana 2008 class to verbal, and the 16th player to verbal a D1 school.
